The skill of properly maintaining a sprint car typically takes years to master. We offer an opportunity for students to learn what it takes to keep a competitive sprint car on the track and finish each race. This course is taught entirely in a classroom setting.
Each participant has a different level of experience, so our program can be tailored to fit each person prior to arriving.
Our maintenance course includes, but not limited to, servicing a 410 and/or 305 sprint car engine, explanation of how often parts need attention or replaced, cleaning and greasing of components, inspecting parts for cracks/wear, bolt checks, checking fluid levels, following and utilizing maintenance sheets, as well as numbering parts and lap recording.
Our experienced and successful instructors will also answer questions along the way, seeing to it that every participant has the best experience possible.
