Jedrzejek dominates 410s; Henry wins AFCS

By Brian Liskai

FREMONT, Ohio – Kasey Jedrzejek was a man on a mission Saturday, Sept. 6 at Fremont Speedway Presented by Gill Construction on Baumann Auto Group Night. The 20-year-old from Lagrange, Ohio cut a tire leading the previous night and set out to prove how fast his Ed Neumeister Racing team is, winning by over four seconds in the 30 non-stop laps of the 410 sprint A-main for his second victory of the year at “The Track That Action Built.”

Jedrzejek, who won the 305 sprint feature Friday at Attica, scored his third 410 sprint victory of 2025 aboard his Mr. Heater, Heat Star, Cherry’s Outdoor World, Cherry’s Propane, Team Line’m Up, Ronda Jedrzejek at Howard Hanna, Sips & Such Social House, Perfection Fabricators, Greber Racing Components, Dibaggio Family, Southgate Lanes, Nagy Coatings, Fisher Custom Printing, Stars & Stripes Tool, Heitmeyer Concrete backed #11N.

“I got to start on the front row with my buddy Mike (Keegan) thanks to him rolling the eight inversion. We’ve been pretty good here all season. Once I got by the lapped cars…a few in one lap and I felt pretty good about that and didn’t have too much pressure. I have to thank Ed for giving me this opportunity and John, Kent Jason… they all did a good job working on the car all week. We swapped an engine after last night,” said Jedrzejek.

Keegan led the first seven laps before Jedrzejek took over and drove away to his third career win at Fremont. Zeth Sabo who won the previous night at Attica came home second with Cap Henry, Keegan and Nate Dussel rounding out the top five.
Henry wrapped up his fourth championship in the All Pro Aluminum Cylinder Heads/Kistler Racing Products Attica Fremont Championship Series Presented by the Baumann Auto Group. It’s his third straight series title.

“It was a really good weekend. Obviously when you’ve been as good as we have this year (15 wins) you want to keep winning races but you can’t win them all. Howdy (Zeth Sabo) was good last night and the 11N car was good tonight. I’m proud of my guys. We’ve put a really good season together. To come in here tonight and have the title wrapped up is pretty cool and it shows how hard my guys have worked all year,” said Henry.

Zack Kramer led the first nine laps of the Fremont Federal Credit Union 305 Sprints feature before fourth starter Logan Riehl took over. Riehl, the division’s rookie of the year in 2020, steadily pulled away while Dustin Stroup moved into second. Riehl got an excellent restart following a caution with just four laps to go and drove to his first win of the season, his second career victory at Fremont, over Stroup, Steve Rando, Kramer and Seth Schneider.

“Beginning of the year we had a bunch of motor issues. We got that figured out and then we had parts failures. I don’t remember last time we finished a race. I knew at the beginning of the race we had a really good car and I just had to hit my marks. I have to thank RCF Chassis, my dad and mom, my fiancée and everyone on the car,” said Riehl beside his Riehl Custom Fabrication and Repair, Cornerstone Farms, Bascom Diesel Supply, Larry Riehl, Milligan’s Irish Pub backed #9R.

Jamie Miller wrapped up his third Real Geese Decoys/Real Capz Attica Fremont Championship Series title.

“We’ve been struggling the past few weeks after starting the season so strong. We gained on it tonight and we will get back to where we were. It feels good to win another AFCS championship,” said Miller.

Chuck Roelle led the opening lap of the Burmeister Trophy Dirt Truck feature before Kent Brewer took over. Following a caution on lap five, eighth starter Shawn Valenti drove into second and quickly challenged Brewer. The duo put on a heck of a show battling for the lead with Valenti taking over the top spot on lap 11.
Following a caution on lap 13, Valenti and Brewer again resumed their entertaining battle for the lead with Keith Sorg joining in the fun. A caution on the white flag lap set up a green-white-checker finish and Valenti held off Brewer for his seventh victory of the season.

Valenti now has 89 career wins at Fremont to lead all drivers in the track’s history. He hasn’t finished out of the top two at Fremont all season long. Brewer, Sorg, Dan Hennig and Craig Dippman rounded out the top five.

“This thing has been amazing. I never dreamed I’d get one win here let alone 89 now. I have to thank Jeff Babcock, Squirrel, my wife and kids,” said Valenti beside his Craig Miller Trucking, Conrad Transportation, Dave Story Equipment, A Plus Auto Center, Smolders Speed Concepts, Holman Drilling, S&S Hauling and Excavating backed #7B.

Fremont Speedway will be back in action Friday and Saturday, Sept. 12 and 13 for the 18th Annual Jim Ford Classic. The dirt trucks join the NAPA Auto Parts All Star Circuit of Champions on Friday while the 305 sprints join the All Stars on Saturday. It’s championship weekend for the All Stars.
