DIRTY 30 - COMING TO SANDUSKY
On Thurdsay, October 3rd, 2019 Sandusky Speedway will host the first area 'getting dirty on the asphalt' show! Dirt late models using UMP rules will run 30-lap feature, the Fremont dirt trucks/Oakshade bombers (2 barrel carb) and dirt vs asphalt FWD will also take to the 1/2 mile asphalt track in Sandusky.
According to officials the show is still in the planning stage and they continue to finalize details such as purse, times, etc. More updates will be coming out as they finalize the plans.
More details on rules:
Late models: UMP body, engine and chassis rules. Hoosier LM 20 30 or 40 compounds or American Racer MD56.
Trucks/bombers: Home track body, engine and chassis rules. Any 8 in. dirt tire. 2 bbl carb only. 4bbl carbs MUST have the secondary linkage removed. Any car found with a working 4bbl will be disqualified with no pay or tow money.
FWD: To be determined.
