Persistent rain forces Fremont Speedway to cancel for May 6

FREMONT, Ohio – With over three inches of rain predicted through Saturday morning, Fremont Speedway officials have cancelled racing for Saturday, May 5.
The tickets that were handed out to all students in Sandusky County schools can still be used either Saturday, May 13 or Saturday, May 20.
Fremont Speedway will be in action Saturday, May 13 for the first appearance of the Rick’s Truck & Equipment Buckeye Outlaw Sprint Series (BOSS). The traditional, non-wing sprint cars will be joined by the winged Fremont Federal Credit Union 305 Sprints, the Burmeister Trophy Dirt Trucks and the McCullough Industries 602 Late Models. Free camping is available Saturday night in the campground north of the track.
