Roberts wins exciting ALMS feature; Scott takes fourth win; Roepke wins second straight

FREMONT, Oh. - Curtis Roberts held off several challenges to claim the American Late Model Series presented by Suncoco, Monday, May 28 at Fremont Speedway.
Roberts took the True Value Hardware of Woodville 30-lap feature over a hard charging Jeep Vanwormer, who set fast time during qualifications, Kris Patterson, Matt Miller, Steve Casebolt, Rick DeLong, Jerry Bowersock, Keith Berner, Ryan Markham and Shane Yoder. Vanwormer, Patterson and Miller swapped the second position throughout the non-stop 30 lap main.
Heat wins went to Bowersock, Markham, Roberts, Casebolt and DeLong. The B-Mains wins went to Brian Ruhlman and Charlie Duncan.
In the 305 sprints, defending track champion Bryan Scott charged to the front from his eighth place starting spot to easily score the feature win over Bob Foster, Doug Berryman, Shawn Chaney, Bill Kraylek, Dustin Keegan, Brandon Martin, Matt Karbler, Lee Potter and Roger Shammo.
Heat wins went to Kraylek, Karbler, Foster and Scott. Ed Psuerny won the B-Main.
Defending track champion Danny Roepke battled Bill Davis throughout the 15 lap feature and held on for his second straight win. Davis was second followed by Steve Sabo, Jeff Hites, Rich Farmer, L.J. Connors, Rob Boutwell, Jay Boyd, Brian Sebetto and Jeff Dougherty.
Heat wins went to Roepke, Farmer and Hites. Jim Keegan won the truck B-Main.
Action returns to Fremont Speedway on Saturday, June 2 for Beck Oil Night with the 410 sprints, 305 sprints and dirt trucks. The All Star Circuit of Champions will make up their rained out show on Saturday, June 9 with sponsorship by Fremont Fence.
