FREMONT, Oh. - Fremont Speedway will live up to its nickname, "The Track That Action Built" this coming Memorial Day weekend.
The All Star Circuit of Champions make their second of five visits to Fremont Speedway on Saturday, May 26 for the Budweiser 40 paying $6,000 to win and $500 to start. The 305 sprint division will also be in action.
The All Stars helped kick off the track's 50th anniversary season on April 28. Hometown driver Chad Kemenah scored the win in an exciting feature, over Byron Reed and Greg Wilson.
Then on Memorial Day, Monday, May 28, True Value Hardware of Woodville is sponsoring the first of two visits by the American Late Model Series presented by Sunoco. The feature event pays $2,000 to win for the late models.
In the two appearances by the ALMS late models last year, Indiana's Greg Johnson scored the victories. Both late model races at Fremont Speedway in 2000 drew over 40 cars.
The 305 sprints and the popular dirt trucks will also be in competition on Memorial Day.
