FREMONT, Ohio – Race fans will
have double the fun and excitement
in the coming events at Fremont
Speedway as the make-up features
from the Aug. 4 event have been
scheduled.
On Burger King Night, Aug. 4, all
the racing that remained were the
features for the Fort Ball Pizza
Palace 410 Sprints, the Fremont
Federal Credit Union 305 Sprints
and Fremont Fence and Guardrail
Dirt Trucks. The 305 sprint
feature was on the track when
severe thunder storms struck “The
Track That Action Built.”
The 20-lap dirt truck feature from
Aug. 4 will be part of the
Gressman Powersports/Level
Performance 13th Annual 305 Sprint
Invitational on Sunday, Sept. 2.
Not only will the 305 sprints
compete for one of the richest
purses for that division in the
country – including the two car,
two-lap match race to determine
the first four rows of the feature
– the trucks will now compete in
two complete features. The event
also includes the ladies powder
puff truck race and kids bike
races.
The 410 sprint feature from Aug. 4
– which was part of the Kistler
Racing Products FAST (Fremont
Attica Sprint Title) Championship
Series Presented by Engine Pro and
KS Sales and Service – will be
made up on Saturday, Sept. 8.
Tanks Meats Night will now include
two complete 30-lap 410 sprint
features. This will be the
championship night for the FAST
Series. Also in competition will
be the 305 sprints and dirt
trucks.
The remaining laps of the 305
sprints feature from Aug. 4 will
be made up on Friday, Sept. 14,
during the first of two straight
nights of the Jim Ford Classic.
The All Pro Aluminum Heads Night
will include the UNOH All Star
Circuit of Champion Sprint Cars,
and now two features of the 305
sprints, along with the dirt
trucks.
