FREMONT, Ohio – The second class of the Fremont Speedway Hall of Fame will be inducted during special ceremonies prior to the racing action on Saturday, June 5 – rain or shine.

The ceremonies are scheduled for 3 p.m. in the historic covered grandstands of “The Track That Action Built,” with racing action following at 7 p.m. However, should the weather threaten, the ceremony will be held at the Fremont Moose Lodge, 2507 Hayes Ave., with doors opening around 2 p.m. and the ceremony underway at 3 p.m.

Joining the 17 members of the Fremont Speedway Hall of Fame who were inducted last year, will be this year’s class of Johnny Beaber, Mark Keegan, De Genzman, Roy Sheets, Wally Heminger, Jim Roepke, Sonny Burmeister, Earl Lowe, Gary Kern and Joe Sabo.
