Action Built." Not only will 17 individuals be inducted into the Fremont
Speedway Hall of Fame, but Ohio's best weekly dirt track racing purse has
also been increased for McDonald's Night.

The winner of the Fort Ball Pizza Palace 410 Sprints' feature will earn
$3,500 while the victor in the Fremont Federal Credit Union 305 Sprints till
take home $1,000 and the feature winner in the Fremont Fence Dirt Trucks
will earn $500.

Paul Strasser, Art Ball, Herbie Robinson, Alvin Franks,Wendell Smith, Gene
Notestine, Dorothy Shilling, Harold McGilton, Harold Billow and Jim Ford
during a special ceremony beginning at 3 p.m.

"We've had tremendous support from the fans and race teams this season and
we wanted to show them how much we appreciate it, so we're putting more
money into the purse," said Fremont Speedway Promoters Andy James and Rich
Farmer.

"There will be a lot of family and friends here of the hall of fame
inductees...we wouldn't be racing here today if it weren't for those people,
and we wanted to make this a very special night," added Farmer and James.

Not only will the purses be increased, but the family and friends of the
late Dick Liskai, who raced at Fremont Speedway, are putting some more
incentive into the night's racing. Liskai, whose sprint cars carried the #6
to three career feature wins at "The Track That Action Built," is being
remembered by his family in a very special way on 6th day of the 6th month.
The 6th fastest qualifier will earn over $600. Also, the 6th place finisher
in the 305 sprint feature will get a new nose wing thanks to a generous
donation from Kear's Speed Shop. And, the family will make a donation to the
Racers Racing for the Cure, which benefits the American Cancer Society.
