FREMONT, Ohio - The Sandusky
County Fairboard has agreed to allow
limited camping in the historic
fairgrounds during the 2009 racing
season at Fremont Speedway.
Only those who have purchased boxed seats
are eligible to camp adjacent
to the speedway.
"We're pleased the fairboard
has agreed to help us accommodate some of
our fans who purchased boxed
seats for their comfort and convenience,"
said Fremont Speedway Promoter
Rich Farmer. "Each of the eight camping
spots will receive a season-long
camping permit to park their
motorhomes close to the
main ticket gate."
All other camping is restricted
to the campground area across from the
race track on North Street.
Farmer said there are still
a few box seats available for purchase for
the 2009 season at "The
Track That Action Built." Racing gets underway
on April 18.
For more information on the
box seats and camping call Farmer at
