rained out...ALMS title hunt moves to Millstream

FREMONT, Ohio - The chase for the Sunoco American Late Model Series
championship will move to Findlay's Millstream Speedway after the event
scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 13 at Fremont Speedway was rained out.
Rains all day Friday, coupled with more rains Saturday morning and still
more predicted throughout the day forced the cancellation of
racing on
Ludwig Propane Night at "The Track That Action Built."
Fremont Speedway will host the richest event in its 57-year history
on
Saturday, Sept. 20 as Abdoo Wrecking Presents the Jim Ford Classic.
The 410
sprint feature winner will take home $20,000! The Fremont Federal Credit
Union 305 Sprints and Fremont Fence Dirt Trucks will be split into
two
fields each - odds and evens in the point standings - to compete in
feature
events only with increased purses as well to decided those division
track
champions.
Gates will open at 4 p.m. with racing underway at 7 p.m. The rain date
for
the Jim Ford Classic is Sunday, Sept. 21.
The ALMS championship race will take place Sunday, Sept. 28 at Findlay's
speedplant, Millstream Speedway. The event will also feature the 410
sprints, 305 sprints and the stocks/dirt trucks. Gates will open at
3 p.m.
with racing underway at 6 p.m.
