FREMONT, Ohio (Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2006) - Fremont Speedway will honor its 
2006 champions at a special awards banquet, to be held Saturday, Nov. 4 
at Ole Zim's Wagonshed, St. Rt. 590 (south of U.S. 20), west of Fremont.

The top 10 in points in all three divisions - Fort Ball Pizza Palace 
410 Sprints, Fremont Federal Credit Union 305 Sprints and Coors Light 
Dirt Trucks - will share in a $20,000 point fund. Drivers or car 
owners need to be present to receive their point fund monies. The 
Computer Man Dash point fund will pay out over $5,000 to the 305 
sprints. 

Doors will open at Ole Zim's at 5:30 p.m. with the family style dinner  
with beef, ham and chicken to begin at 6:30 p.m. Pop and beer are 
included.

Tickets for the banquet are $25 each and can be purchased by sending a 
check made out to Fremont Speedway. Send checks and the number of 
tickets needed and a return address to: Fremont Speedway, 19101 Orchard 
Dr., Elmore, Ohio 43416, or call 419-862-2206 and reserve your tickets 
for pick up at the door (however, money needs to be sent ahead of 
time). Tickets will also be available at the Racers' Flea Market to be 
held at the fairgrounds on Saturday, Oct. 28 (single day event only). 

The top 10 in the Fort Ball Pizza Palace 410 sprint point standings 
were: 1. Mike Linder; 2. Lee Jacobs; 3. John Ivy; 4. Byron Reed; 5. 
Todd Heller; 6. David Harrison; 7. Bryan Scott; 8. Craig Mintz; 9. Mark 
Keegan; and 10. Caleb Griffith.

The top 10 in the Fremont Federal Credit Union 305 sprint point 
standings were: 1. Paul Weaver; 2. Bryan Sebetto; 3. Chris Andrews; 4. 
Andy Shammo; 5. Bobby Foster; 6. Brad Bowman; 7. Kevin Lee; 8. Bill 
Kraylek; 9. Duane Zablocki; 10. Matt Merrill.

The top 10 in the Coors Light Dirt Truck point standings were: 1. Brian 
Arnold; 2. Dwight Waltermeier; 3. Jim McGrath; 4. Steve Sabo; 5. Cory 
Ward; 6. Shawn Valenti; 7. Bob Dible; 8. Art Ball; 9. Art Howey Jr.; 
10. Aaron Schatzinger.

Other awards such as Rookies of the Year will also be presented to 
Bryan Scott (410 sprints), Chad Wilson (305 sprints) and Shawn Valenti 
(dirt trucks).
