Fremont's 2006 season

FREMONT, Ohio (Jan. 9, 2006) - The newly created National Sprint Tour
- featuring some of the world's best sprint car drivers, including 20-time
World of Outlaws champion Steve Kinser, will make two stops at historic
Fremont Speedway in 2006.
NST drivers like Kinser, Danny Lasoski, Paul McMahan, Joey Saldana,
Jason Meyers, Brian Paulus, Tim Shaffer, Jason Sides, Jason Solwold, Shane
Stewart, Lucas Wolfe and Brandon Wimmer will battle the tough local stars
like 2005 Fremont champion Mike Linder, Byron Reed, David Harrison, Mark
Keegan, and Brian Smith.
The NST will visit the Sandusky County Fairgrounds on Tuesday, June
6, and Saturday, July 22.
Other big events on "The Track That Action Built's" 2006 schedule include
three visits by the All Star Circuit of Champions (Saturday, May 6, Thursday,
June 29 (speedweek) and Saturday, Sept. 9); the Sprints On Dirt-305 Sprint
Challenge (Saturday, May 20), the National Racing Alliance-305 Sprint Challenge
(Saturday, Aug. 12) and two visits from the American Late Model Series
(Monday, May 29, and
Saturday, Sept. 16)
Fremont Speedway will kick off its 55th season on Saturday, April 22.
Weekly racing will feature the Fort Ball Pizza 410 sprints, the Fremont
Federal Credit Union 305 Sprints and the Coors Light Dirt Trucks.
