FREMONT, Ohio (Aug. 3) - Helena, Ohio's Phil Gressman put the knowledge of
veteran mechanic Andy Potter to good use Saturday, as he claimed two feature
wins at Fremont Speedway. Gressman won the make-up feature from the July 27
rainout, and then scored the win in the Roots Poultry A-Main during the
regular portion of the evening.

In the make-up Schiets Motors Honda, Yamaha feature, Gressman scored the win
over Rodney Duncan, Butch Schroeder, Fremont's John Ivy and Attica's Brandon
Martin.

In the regular feature, Gressman worked his way up from 10th to take the
lead from Fremont's Bobby Clark with about 14 laps remaining and picked his
way through lapped traffice in the Bob Miller Rigging sprinter to claim the
victory. Fremont's John Ivy finished second, with Duncan, Schroeder and
Clark rounding out the top five.

"We've struggled a lot here. It feels good to get back on the right foot. We
tore up at Eldora this week, so these wins mean a lot," said Gressman.

In the make-up 305 feature, Clyde's Mike Oberdorf scored his first career
feature win over Bucyrus' Brock Mayes; Fostoria's Jamie Miller; Gibsonburg's
Craig Mintz; and Castalia's Matt Karbler.

In the regular 305 feature, 14-year-old Caleb Griffith of Castalia picked
up his first career feature win over Castalia's Bryan Scott; Fremont's Bobby
Foster; Mayes and Oberdorf.

Darrell Brown has been racing at Fremont for over 20 years, and finally
found victory lane by claiming the dirt truck feature. Rounding out the top
five were Fremont's John Rhoads; Fremont's Bobby Davis; Findlay's Jay Boyd;
and Carey's Gregg Summit
