Hits Fremont Features

FREMONT,
Ohio (July 27) - Fremont Speedway was able to get in all
of the heat race action Saturday, but a severe thunderstrom
struck during the 305 sprint B-Main, forcing the cancellation
of the nights main events during Schiets Motors Night.
The
410 sprints and 305 sprints will run double B and A main
features on Saturday, Aug. 3, with the dirt trucks running
double features on Tuesday, Aug. 20.
Before
the rains came, there were some great heat races on the
lightening fast clay surface. Butch Schroeder set a new
track record during qualifications, becoming the first racer
to tour the track in the 11 second bracket with a time of
11. 972.
